OUR STORY

During the summer of 2020, Davey began sensing God calling him to plant a Gospel

preaching and teaching church in Lowndes County that looked the church in heaven,

based on Revelation 7:9. “Imago Dei” is Latin for “Image of God” and comes from

Genesis 1:27 which tells us that God made each person in “His image…the Image of

God.” Imago Dei Church at the 45 desires to message and model the Gospel of Jesus

Christ in Lowndes County and to the nations, regardless of a person’s skin color, social

status, etc. Thus, by God’s provision and grace, Imago Dei Church at the 45 had its

official launch service on October 24 th , 2021.
